Dato’ Hamidah Naziadin provides overall strategic leadership for HR of CIMB Group across ASEAN. Under her guidance, HR transformed from an administrative function into a key business enabler, contributing to the Group’s rapid growth into a leading ASEAN financial institution that it is today. She strategised the resource integration, ensuring a successful consolidation in various mergers and acquisitions over the years, within Malaysia, and across ASEAN and APAC regions.
In sustaining a high-performing workforce across ASEAN, Dato’ Hamidah collaborates with leaders of the Group to meet the dynamic needs of all lines of business. She has implemented strategic HR programs that are also aimed at fuelling CIMB’s differentiation in the market to gain a competitive advantage, which have earned peer and industry recognition through numerous awards.
The principles of good corporate citizenship form another integral part of the Group’s business strategy, which Dato’ Hamidah is also entrusted with. As the CEO of CIMB Foundation, she spearheads corporate responsibility initiatives for the Group, focusing on community development, sports and education.
Dato' Hamidah has nearly 30 years of experience in HR in the financial industry, of which 25 years were with the Group.
